Sikh groups and leaders to roll out action plan against the unpopular High Court order quashing Kotkapura SIT day after tomorrow 27th April after a meeting at Gurudwara Amb sahib Mohali.
Bholath, April 25 (Ajay Gogna)- Perturbed over the denial of justice in sacrilege cases, Sikh bodies and prominent personalities under the leadership of former Akal Takhat Sahib Jathedar Bhai Ranjit Singh today denounced the high Court judgement quashing the SIT report on Kotkapura firing incident in 2015.Terming the HC judgement as political in nature, they held the Punjab government responsible for failing to defend the report in the court. They decided to announce the action program against the HC judgement on Tuesday during PC at Gurdwara Amb Sahib.Sukhpal Singh Khaira, who organized today’s meet told the media that there is a strong emotions among Sikh Diaspora against the flawed judgement. He said this judgement has killed all hopes of justice in aggrieved family and community. The Punjab Government has failed to do justice in all sacrilege related cases whether it’s Barghari or Behbal or Maur blast, said Khaira.Dal Khalsa Spokesman Kanwarpal Singh said it looks the judiciary and government is biased vis-a-vis sacrilege related cases. Taking exception, he said the judge has accused the SIT head Kunwar Vijay Partap Singh of preparing the report keeping in mind his post-retirement political settlement. Taking a jibe, he said it seems the judge had prepared the said judgement keeping in mind his post retirement political settlement.Prominent among those who attended the meeting includes Hardeep Singh Dibdiba, Parminder Singh Dhindsa Ex-Minister, Ranjit Singh Talwandi Ex-MLA, Gaini Kewal Singh Former Jathedar Takhat Damdama Sahib, Jagdev Singh Kamalu MLA, Pirmal Singh Khalsa MLA, Gurpreet Singh Randhawa SGPC Member,  Khushal Singh, Ajaypal Singh Brar, Harjinder Singh Majhi, Sukhraj Singh Behbal Kalan and Paramjit Singh Tanda.
